Celebrating Panama Afro’s Heritage Month!
Prime Solutions Tax & Legal team came together today to commemorate Panama Afro’s Heritage Month, honoring the rich history and vibrant culture of the black ethnic community.
In May, the country celebrates Black Heritage Month with festivities of inclusion, social and cultural empowerment, culminating on May 31 with Día de la Etnia Negra, honoring Panama’s Afro-heritage, ethnic diversity, and the abolition of slavery in 1851.
During this special month, we recognize the significant contributions made by Afro-Panamanians in shaping the social, economic, and cultural fabric of our beloved Panama. From art and music to cuisine and language, their heritage has left an indelible mark on our society.
